Peg Allen

Peg Allen, PhD, MPH, is a Research Assistant Professor with the Prevention Research Center and the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research interests are in studying and supporting state and local health departments in evidence-based public health capacity building and practice. With our research teams’ support, health department chronic disease leadership teams have instituted management practices to enhance application of the best available science to program planning, implementation, and evaluation. Her research interests also include rural health promotion and multisector collaboration in chronic disease prevention. Peg enjoys time with family and nature hikes.
